Stocksbridge Radio Car Club is located approximately 10 miles West of Sheffield.

    Race meetings are held on Sunday and are fortnightly, at Stocksbridge Sports Center.

     The Club has been going now for about 8 Years, and is ideal for complete beginners looking to enter the hobby to talk and learn from our friendly/helpful experienced members.

     Racing currently costs £4.00 per driver per class and we currently run 1/10 Electric Touring Cars for 27T stock and modified motors and brushless motors too, spiked tyres are not allowed and we now encourage use of rubber tyres and additive (to fall inline with other local carpet clubs) We also run 1/18 Micro Off Road buggies with some of the countries tops drivers practising with these cars at the club. Racing takes place in a large Sports Hall with the track area of 30 metres long by 14 metres wide at present, with the majority being of Primatrack GT carpet.

     Doors open at 7.30am, officially at 8.00am because the track is so huge to build, drivers need to arrive between 8.30am and 9.00am and racing starts between 9.00am and 9.30am. Racing usually ends at around 1.00pm and doors close at 2.00pm

Races are timed using a BBK race program and hand out transponders are available, we also welcome the use of personal transponders for those that have them.

All drivers are welcome from novice to expert, however drivers must join the BRCA after 3 meetings if they are not already members, this provides third party insurance cover for drivers.

Onsite parking is available outside the hall. If possible please bring your own pit table as we only have limited tables available.
